Transcripts: Make Your Media More Accessible & Inclusive

Nowadays, many potential clients are those with accessibility needs. Fortunately, VideoCom Cloud offers the ability to add transcripts to your uploaded media files, further improving how you interact with prospects who are differently-abled.

To enhance accessibility and comprehension of your video recordings in VideoCom Cloud, you can easily add transcripts that serve as subtitles. Follow these steps:

Generating Captions

Select the desired video to which you want to add captions.

Click the kebab menu located at the upper right of the video.

Choose Generate Captions from the menu.



The platform will automatically generate captions for your video, which may take a few minutes. Once the process is complete, you will receive an email notification.

Managing Transcripts

After receiving the email notification, follow these steps to manage your transcripts:

Return to your video in the VideoCom Cloud.

Locate the attachments section, where you will find a file named "Transcript (auto-generated)."

Optionally, rename the transcript file to indicate the language or make it more descriptive.

If needed, download the transcript file for translation into different languages or other purposes.

You will also notice a new "CC" icon at the bottom right corner of your video. Use this icon to toggle the captions on or off as per your preference.
