To get started in using all of VideoCom's products and services, you need to create a new account.

Creating an Account and Getting your Login Code:

Go to https://videocom.com, then click Sign In at the top-right corner. This will bring you to the Login page.

Type in the email address you wish to use as your new VideoCom account login email, then click Get login code.

Go to https://www.videocom.com, then click Sign In in the top-right corner. This will bring you to the Login page.

The Sign in button is located in the top-right corner of the VideoCom homepage.

Log in to your account and get your 6-digit login code using your VideoCom email address.

Capturing the right scene for your recording and adding audio commentary to it is a great way to add value and information to your captures. In use cases such as sales, having the ability to capture and record audio to go with your screen capture allows you to connect better with your clients.

Start capturing the section of your screen you'd like to record by either selecting Start Capture from the VideoCom Capture icon in the taskbar, or by hitting your configured hotkey.

A prompt will ask you to take a screenshot or start recording a video, where you can select Record a Video.

You may select a part of your screen to adjust which part you'll record, or click on the icon to toggle the selection to record the entire screen.

Clicking on the top left video icon will then initiate the recording.

Transferring your XSplit license to a VideoCom Pro plan

XSplit Capture, XSplit Presenter, and XSplit Cloud will be discontinued on 1st February 2023. The good news is that VideoCom will continue the Capture, Presenter, and Cloud product lines.

We’ve taken the apps you know and love and have spent time the last few months making a whole host of improvements and adjustments. We’ve also been working hard on our other offerings such as our Cloud platform to provide more powerful features and to make it easier than ever to share.

Upgrade eligibility

As part of the migration, you'll be able to upgrade to a VideoCom Pro plan based on your current XSplit license. VideoCom Pro plans are separate than XSplit licenses, meaning that claiming a VideoCom plan will not cancel your ongoing XSplit license.

To be eligible for the VideoCom Apps Pro - Lifetime plan, you must have the following:

Have an XSplit Premium Lifetime bundle (that includes XSplit Presenter and Capture)
Have used XSplit Capture or Presenter at least once

Enable Snapping for overlay elements Snapping helps you align Presenter elements within your slide by snapping elements together when they are close.

Hide Presenter from Screen Capture This option is useful when you don't have screen real estate but still want to use screen capture. This will hide VideoCom Presenter from screen capture so no one can see behind the scenes.

Enable countdown before recording Enabling this option will ensure you're ready when starting a recording by displaying a 3-second countdown before the recording actually starts.
