Transferring your XSplit license to a VideoCom Pro plan
XSplit Capture, XSplit Presenter, and XSplit Cloud will be discontinued on 1st February 2023. The good news is that VideoCom will continue the Capture, Presenter, and Cloud product lines.
What is VideoCom?
VideoCom is a brand-new platform for creating and sharing high-quality videos and screen captures with ease. We’ve taken the apps you know and love and have spent time the last few months making a whole host of improvements and adjustments. We’ve also been working hard on our other offerings such as our Cloud platform to provide more powerful features and to make it easier than ever to share.
As part of the migration, you'll be able to upgrade to a VideoCom Pro plan based on your current XSplit license. VideoCom Pro plans are separate than XSplit licenses, meaning that claiming a VideoCom plan will not cancel your ongoing XSplit license.
To be eligible for the VideoCom Apps Pro - Lifetime plan, you must have the following:
Have an XSplit Premium Lifetime bundle (that includes XSplit Presenter and Capture)
Have used XSplit Capture or Presenter at least once
To be eligible for the VideoCom Pro plan, you must have the following:
Have a 1 month or 12 months XSplit Premium bundle (that includes XSplit Presenter and Capture)
Have an app-specific license (i.e. XSplit Presenter license)
Once confirmed that your XSplit account is eligible, you may claim your VideoCom License. (please see details below)
How do I claim my VideoCom plan?
Visit the XSplit Migration page and create an account, if necessary.
IMPORTANT: You should use the same email address you used to sign up to XSplit--the one with an existing XSplit Premium or Presenter License.
How do I upload media to VideoCom Cloud?
Once you redeem your new VideoCom Pro plan, you can upload media directly onto your account. Here are two ways:
Drag and drop your media (available for both Apps Pro and Pro holders)
Click the +New button and select Upload Media (available only for VideoCom Pro holders)
