Importing PowerPoint, Google Slides, and PDFs to Your Project




You can connect your existing PowerPoint, Google Slides, and PDF presentations to VideoCom Presenter to maximize its features. With this feature, you can turn any of your old slides into powerful, interactive sales videos.

Run VideoCom Presenter

When running the app for the first time, you will see a pop-up allowing you to select which presentation file you would like to import. Choose from the list below to get started.

Import a PowerPoint Presentation



In the Connect Presentation pop-up, click Add a PowerPoint Presentation.

Locate the desired PowerPoint file on your computer by browsing through your files and folders.

Once you've selected the file, click Open.

VideoCom Presenter will automatically import it into your project.

Import a Google Slides Presentation



Importing a Google Slides Presentation requires linking your Google Account to VideoCom Presenter.

In the Connect Presentation pop-up, click Add a Google Slides Presentation.

A browser popup should appear. Follow the steps to log in to your Google Account.

VideoCom Presenter will require you to log in your Google Account so it can access your Google Slides presentation/s.

You may be asked to give VideoCom additional access to your Google Account. Make sure to click Continue when this happens.

You will get a message indicating that the account linking is a success. Close the browser window, then go back to VideoCom Presenter.

A new Select a file window should appear in the app, which shows all your existing Google Slides presentation files. Choose one then click Select.

VideoCom Presenter will automatically import it into your project.

Import a PDF Document



In the Connect Presentation pop-up, click Add a PDF Document.

Locate the desired PDF file on your computer by browsing through your files and folders.

Once you've selected the file, click Open.

VideoCom Presenter will automatically import it into your project.

Resynchronizing Imported Slides



After connecting your presentations, any changes made directly to the file outside of VideoCom Presenter will not carry over to your imported slides automatically.

To synchronize these changes, you need to use VideoCom Presenter's Re-Sync feature.

Click the Re-Sync button at the upper left portion of the app anytime to bring ensure that you have the most updated version of your imported presentation files.


Start with a Blank Presentation Slide



In the Connect Presentation pop-up, click Start with a Blank Presentation Slide.

VideoCom Presenter will load a new presentation, starting with one blank slide.
