Adding Annotations to Your Captured Media Before Saving
In VideoCom Capture, you can use annotation tools to enhance your screenshots and recordings. This is very useful when you want people to focus on important parts of your captured content. This is especially useful for customer support and sales videos where attention to the right details are a must.
The annotation elements are accessible via the following buttons in the toolbar:
Text
Arrows
Box
Freehand
Highlight
To add an annotation, click the corresponding button and select the element you want to use.
The Add Text button allows you to type in the text box on the screen. You can customize the text's color and size using the toolbar options.
The Arrow button allows you to add arrows on your capture. When selected, drag your mouse to draw an arrow on your capture. You can adjust the size, color and direction of the arrow using the toolbar options
The Box button enables you to draw a box around a specific part of the capture. Customize the color, thickness, and size of the box, and add text fields to each corner.
The Freehand tool allows you to draw freehand annotations using your mouse.
The Highlight tool will highlight specific parts with a color of your choosing.
Each tool has customization options available in the toolbar. Text fields can also be added to all these tools.
To move or resize an annotation, click and drag it on the captured area with your mouse.
To hide an annotation, click its respective button from the toolbar again.
To delete an annotation, select it on the captured area and press the delete key on your keyboard.
