Adding Calls To Action or Video Inserts to your Videos

The Call-to-action and Video Inserts can add interactive elements to your video uploads in the VideoCom Cloud Workspace.

Call To Action

Also known as CTA, use this to add an interactive button that links to other locations online (e.g. external websites, forms, etc.)

Click the Calls to Action icon then select + Add new

The Add Call To Action popup should appear.



Link (URL)
Paste the website URL here. The button will go directly to the URL when pressed.

Trigger Type
Button - Creates a clickable button
Hotspot - Creates a clickable area over your video

Hotspots are best used when you want to people to click over specific areas of your video to make it appear interactive without the need to place a separate visible button.

Button Text*
Adds a label to your CTA button

Button Color*
Change the color of your CTA button

Button Text Color*
Change the text color of your CTA button

Button Shape*
Choose between Square and Rounded designs

Start Time
Sets the time when the CTA button will appear

End Time
Sets the time when the CTA button will disappear



*Option applies only to Button Trigger Type CTAs

Video Inserts

Use this to add an interactive button that links to other Videos in your Workspace

Click the Video Inserts icon then select + Add new

The Add Video Insert popup should appear.
